A person holding a woman's breast gently, with visible rings on their fingers and dark, long hair partially visible.

I've always been someone who notices things other people walk right past.

The way light moves through a room. The expression that crosses someone's face right before they laugh. The weight of an ordinary Tuesday that becomes the one you'll always remember.

That's the thread running through everything I do – photography, strategy, writing, motherhood, all of it. I pay attention. Fiercely, sometimes inconveniently, always honestly.

I'm Kelly. And this is all of me.

THE WORK
I spent 14 years building a photography business based on one belief: that the most beautiful images aren't made, they're noticed. Families, couples, newborns, brands – I've photographed them all with the same unhurried attention. I want the people in front of my lens to feel seen, not styled.

Alongside that, I spent 14 years in advertising, working my way to VP of Client Services at an agency. My title was VP of Client Services, but the reality of the work was much broader – writing copy, concepting campaigns, directing creative, building brand strategy from the ground up, all while managing the client relationship. That dual fluency – creative and strategic, instinctive and analytical – is what I bring to every engagement.

I left full-time agency life in early 2026 to do more of the work I love. That decision still scares me a little. I think that means it's right.

THE LIFE
I live just outside Omaha, Nebraska with my husband and our daughter – who is just shy of two and already teaching me more than anyone – in a 1970s house we're slowly, lovingly making our own.

Becoming a mother cracked me open in ways I didn't expect. It made me more present, more honest, and more certain that I don't want to be partially anywhere. That shift changed how I work, how I shoot, and what I write about.

I'm a Gemini. I feel everything. My eyes give me away every time. I'm most myself in a room with good light, good music, and something worth noticing.

A FEW MORE THINGS
Currently obsessed with
– making our 70s house feel like us without losing what makes it itself

Always listening to
– my seasonal playlist (clicky)

Favorite session to shoot
– slow mornings, when no one is performing for the camera yet

The brands I want to work with
– small, considered, just finding their voice

What I'm writing about
– starting over, motherhood, reinvention, and what it means to take up space

The thing I keep coming back to
– don't shrink it.

If any of this resonates – if you want someone who will bring their whole self to your family session, your brand, your story – I'd love to talk. I don't do surface level work. I'm not sure I know how.
